UKirk Ole Miss

A student faith community of the Presbyterian Church (USA) serving students of the University of Miss "UKirk" stands for "University Church."

("Kirk" is the Scottish word for "Church.") UKirk is a partnership ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Oxford and St. Andrew Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church (USA). During the academic year, UKirk meets every Tuesday Night at 6:00 PM for a free dinner, followed by Worship with communion. UKirk meets at the UKirk Center, located just off the square at 302 South 11th Street in Oxford, right behind the Lyric Theater.

Merry UKirk Christmas! Give your end-of-semester brain a break and join us for our last Tuesday night of the semester, at 6pm above the Fellowship Hall at FPC. We’ll have Noodle Bowl for dinner, then put something festive on the tv while we decorate mini wooden Christmas trees and sip on hot chocolate. Hope to see you there!

Believe it or not, tonight is our last regular Tuesday of the semester! We’ll have a Christmas party the Tuesday after break, but first join us tonight at 6pm for veggie chili dinner followed by worship with Communion, centered on a conversation about Sabbath.

Join us above the Fellowship Hall at FPC for Volta dinner at 6pm, followed by a reflective time of worship service featuring prayer stations and Communion. Whether or not you can join us, we hope you'll remember to breathe deeply and take care of yourselves and each other on this Election Day.

See you tonight at 6pm above the Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church for South Depot dinner and some multi-purpose fellowship time! First we'll put together some disaster relief cleanup buckets for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, then we'll get into the Halloween spirit(s) with some pumpkin carving.

It’s Tuesday! Join us above the Fellowship Hall at FPC for tortellini dinner, followed by Bible study on Isaiah. (Next week join us for some festive fellowship with pumpkin carving and assembling clean up buckets to help with hurricane relief.)

See you tonight above the Fellowship Hall at FPC Oxford for dinner followed by casual worship with Communion. For dinner we’re having corn and poblano soup, zucchini, bread, and homemade (!) ice cream sandwiches. For worship we’ll reflect on a passage from 1 Kings where God talks to Elijah through a still, small voice. Hope to see you there!
