😃This Sunday is 5th Sunday!

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒That means that families will worship together during a family style service. All children ages 4 & up as well as middle and high school students will be together.

🗒️ Please note: For parents with littles ones 3 & under there will be classes available. For the younger children, we will provide small activity packets. We already can't wait to see everyone on Sunday!

It’s THIS Sunday!!!

It's The Light but with a twist! This month's gathering will feature a waterslide, so be sure to bring a swimsuit, towel, and a friend!

A very special thank you to everyone who came out to help.
It was super productive & together we were able to...

☑️spread gravel to create new parking spots
☑️power wash the front of the church building
☑️scrape & paint window casings
☑️install new speakers
☑️deep clean classrooms
☑️cut up fallen trees to use for firewood at KOZ Kids Outdoor Zone - Newton County
☑️cut down overgrown bushes
☑️declutter and organize
☑️check several other small projects off of the list

We might have left something off of the list here, but it was a GREAT morning serving around the church!

🥳Celebration Sunday is coming and it is going to be a great day of celebrating all that God has done for Journey Church!

We will have a special service on this day and will have a fun family picnic hosted by the Khouli family after service.

🍲Do you want to enter the chili cookoff? There will be a prize for the person who wins!

We will also have some fun things planned for the picnic.

🎙️On Sunday we heard a message about how we are to love God. Obedience matters. We don't get to define what love for God looks like because it is clearly outlined in His Word.

📖John 15:10 states: "If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love".
