Meet The Team Monday: David Berardi

Assistant Tech Director David Berardi began serving LOCC as an independent contractor in December 2024; one year later, he was invited to join the staff. David brings more than 18 years of background working at three different churches in media technology and is also an experienced videographer and editor.
But David also has hidden talents, as evidenced by his career history—as an actor and magician! With a degree from the famed American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, he landed a wide variety of roles—in a feature film as well as multiple community theater productions of plays and musicals (he sings, plays guitar, harmonica, and drums). Additionally, David is a professional magician who has performed on cruise ships and at amusement parks abroad; he still performs magic shows on occasion.
Born in Yonkers, N.Y., David grew up in the Catholic church; he credits his grandparents (“faithful believers in Jesus”) with leading him to the Lord as a child. He and his wife Katrina have been happily married for 32 years and have three grown children – Tucker, Dawson, and McKenna. Glad to have you on the team, David!

There are still 26 international students arriving on 6/25 who need host homes! Please prayerfully consider hosting. If you’re unable to host, we would greatly appreciate you sharing this flyer with friends, neighbors, coworkers, clubs, or anyone who may be interested.

As a reminder, the students will be away at school/activities each weekday from approximately 7:45 AM–5:00 PM. Hosting is a wonderful opportunity to show hospitality, build meaningful connections, and be a light in the life of someone who may have never heard the Gospel before.
