New series this Sunday at 10:30am!

“It’s not you, it’s me”
The sacred work of a becoming.

Most of us are very, very good at diagnosing other people.

We know exactly what's wrong with our neighbor, our family member, our coworker, the person on the other side of the political divide.

We've been doing the analysis. We've built the case. We've rehearsed the conversation we're never going to have.
And somewhere in all of that, we stopped asking the harder question.

What's happening in me?
Not what's wrong with me.
That question has been used as a weapon by people who wanted you quiet, and we're not doing that here.

But the other question.
The braver one.
The one that doesn't point outward.
What is this stirring in me?
What or who am I becoming?

That's the sacred art of becoming.
Not self-improvement.
Not spiritual performance.
Not fixing yourself so God will finally approve of you.

The slow, honest, surprisingly liberating work of becoming and discovering the presence of God in all of it.

Join us this Sunday!!!

What does a church full of amazing people look like?

It looks like love.
It looks like kindness.
It looks like generosity.
It looks like laughter, hugs, encouragement, and people showing up for one another.

These pictures capture more than a celebration—they capture the heart of this community.

Thank you for your love, your support, your friendship, and for making this church a place where people are welcomed, valued, and celebrated.

Five years of ministry.
Countless blessings.
Amazing people.

We are grateful for every one of you. ❤️

UCC is proving once again that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. ❤️

Our “Keeping It Cool” summer fan drive is already off to a wonderful start, with generous donations from members of our church family helping provide relief to those facing the Florida heat.

Fans will be distributed through Caring Hands, with additional support planned for farm workers in Dade City if enough are collected.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. Your generosity is more than a fan it’s a reminder that our community cares for one another and puts love into action. You can drop your fan off at church on Sunday!

Special thanks to “The Fonz” and his gal - Jim and Sue Bodenner for their announcement on Sunday!! 😊💙☀️

It’s Pride Month!

We’ll hear people insist they’re “right” because they exclude or refuse to affirm LGBTQ+ people.

But being convinced you’re right doesn’t automatically make you loving.

Jesus had a lot to say about love, mercy, inclusion, and caring for those on the margins. He never said being LGBTQ+ was a sin. In fact, some of His strongest words were directed at religious people who used their faith to judge and exclude others.

If your beliefs cause harm, rejection, or make someone feel less worthy of God’s love, it may be time to question whether you’re reflecting Jesus or just defending your own certainty.

I celebrate Pride because everyone deserves to know they are loved, valued, and welcomed.

And I look forward to the day when Pride Month is no longer necessary because love and acceptance are simply the norm. 🌈

Our hearts are so full! ❤️

Thank you to our incredible church family for the love, kindness, and generosity you showed as we celebrated 5 years at UCC at The Villages.
What an amazing day it was!

We are deeply grateful for every card, gift, hug, kind word, and expression of encouragement. More than anything, we are thankful for the relationships we have built and for the privilege of serving alongside such a loving and welcoming community.

These past five years have been filled with growth, laughter, challenges, blessings, and countless moments of God’s faithfulness. We couldn’t imagine this journey without all of you.

Thank you for making us feel so loved and appreciated. We are excited for all that lies ahead as we continue growing, learning, serving, and doing life together.

With grateful hearts, thank you for making this celebration so special. We love you all! ❤️

THE CHRONICALLY ANNOYED “Annoyance as Compass”

What if the tension you feel in a relationship isn’t always a sign to fight harder… but a directional signal?

This Sunday, we’re exploring the sacred wisdom of release.
Not every relationship ends because someone became the villain.

Sometimes people simply grow in different directions.

• How do you know when a relationship has changed?
• Can you love someone and still release them?
• What happens when people can’t receive who you’re becoming?
• Is it possible to let go without bitterness?

“You don’t have to hate someone to release them.
You don’t have to find fault to find the door.”

There’s something special about the generation that learned how to keep going no matter what.

The ones who worked hard without needing applause.
Who showed up for family, neighbors, and friends.
Who understood the value of loyalty, respect, handwritten notes, front porch conversations, and keeping your word.

You taught us that life isn’t always easy, but you face it anyway.
That love is shown in actions.
That some of the best memories are made around the dinner table, on road trips, at family gatherings, or simply sitting together doing absolutely nothing.

In a world moving faster every day, your wisdom still matters.
Your stories still matter.
And the way you loved and cared for others still leaves a lasting impact.

What’s one lesson from “the good old days” you think younger generations need more of today?

Life was never meant to be just surviving the week and checking off responsibilities.

It’s meant to be lived fully, deeply, and joyfully.

So many of us spend our lives waiting… waiting for more money, more time, the perfect moment, or the perfect circumstances before we allow ourselves to truly enjoy life.

But the truth is, tomorrow is never promised.

Life is happening right now.

Don’t let stress, fear, or other people’s opinions stop you from experiencing joy.
Protect your peace.
Have fun.
Be spontaneous sometimes.
Do what fills your soul and makes you feel alive.

Years from now, you probably won’t remember the laundry, the emails, or the endless to-do lists. But you will remember the road trips, the conversations, the laughter, the adventures, and the moments that made you feel genuinely happy.

So live a little louder.
Love a little deeper.
Smile a little bigger.

You deserve a life that feels good to live. ❤️
