Bellevue Owensboro Upward Bellevue Owensboro Upward offers 1st-6th boys and girls basketball leagues. What is Upward? (i.e. listing first and last name)

Upward promotes character and fun for every child by:

- providing an evaluation system that promotes equal and competitive teams.girls and boys are on separate teams.
- establishing a one-hour practice and game each week
- implementing a substitution system for each team, allowing every child equal playing time
-creating the opportunity for every child to learn and improve their skills in the spo

rt. Participating in Upward will give your child a chance to experience good sportsmanship on and off the court. This is a reminder of Bellevue Upward Inclimate Weather Policy. When Owensboro Public Schools (City) are cancelled or let out early due to weather, practices for that evening are automatically cancelled. Saturday games are decided on a case by case basis which will be communicated by coaches, text message and Facebook posts.

Bellevue Upward coaches have their rosters and will be contacting player parents this week, if they have not done so already. If you have not heard from a coach by Friday, November 21. Please contact our Bellevue Upward League Director.

As we are preparing for evaluations, we see that we are in need of more 1st - 4th grade girls to play. If you know of any girls that would like to play ,please contact us at 270-314-2423 or they can come to evaluations Tomorrow, October 20, 6pm-9pm, or Saturday October 25, 9am - Noon and we can register them on site.

Evaluations for 1st-6th grade players are Monday, October 20th, 6PM - 9PM or Saturday, October 25, 9AM-Noon, choose whichever date is best for you, but please make it a priority to come to one of these evaluations. This is an important part of the Upward Basketball experience.

Kindergarten players do not need to attend evaluations.
