Today, on the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we reflect on the beautiful encounter between two expectant mothers, Mary and Elizabeth. Filled with joy and hope, Elizabeth proclaimed, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed be the fruit of your womb!” (Luke 1:42).

This sacred moment reminds us of the dignity and value of every life, both born and unborn. Just as Mary carried Christ to Elizabeth and brought light, hope, and love, we are called to accompany mothers facing difficult circumstances with compassion, encouragement, and practical support.

At Deacons of Hope, we strive to follow Mary's example by walking alongside pregnant women, helping them choose life, and providing resources, guidance, and hope for both mother and child. Every mother deserves support. Every child deserves a chance to live and thrive.

On this Memorial Day, the Deacons of Hope remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. We pray through the powerful intercession of St. Michael the Archangel, defender and protector, asking God to grant eternal rest to the fallen and peace to their families.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and love shown by those who laid down their lives for others. 🇺🇸🙏
