📢 Hope House Update

We wanted to share an important update regarding the temporary closing of Hope House.

Our new tentative reopening date is Tuesday, September 22nd. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get everything ready to safely welcome everyone back. 💙

In the meantime, Hope House will be offering mobile drive-thru distribution on:

🚗 Tuesday, September 15th | 4:00–6:00 PM
🚗 Wednesday, September 16th | 9:00–11:00 AM

We hope this temporary distribution option helps meet needs while Hope House remains closed.

🏠🔨 IMPORTANT HOPE HOUSE UPDATE

**Our closure has been extended.**

Due to the ongoing roof repairs and construction, Hope House will remain **CLOSED through the first week of September.**

At this time, we are **tentatively planning to reopen on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.** This date is subject to change depending on the progress and completion of the work, but we are hopeful that we will be able to welcome everyone back by then. ❤️

We know this extended closure may be difficult for those who rely on Hope House, and we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, prayers, and continued support while we work through these important repairs.

Our priority is to make sure the work is completed **safely and properly** so that Hope House can reopen and continue serving our community.

We will continue to provide updates as we get closer to our reopening date.

Harvesters - The Community Food Network will be in Ottawa Friday August 21st 2026 for food distribution.

This is a great food opportunity while Hope House is closed for repairs.

IMPORTANT HOPE HOUSE UPDATE 🏠🔨

Hope House will be CLOSED starting Tuesday, August 18, 2026 as we begin work on our roof.

We are planning for the closure to last approximately 2 weeks, or until the roof is completed.

We know this closure may be an inconvenience for those who rely on Hope House, and we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support while we make these important repairs.

Our goal is to get the work completed safely and get Hope House back open to serving our community as soon as possible. ❤️

🏠 **Hope House Community Update** 🏠

As we continue recovering from the storm damage and prepare for much-needed roof repairs and building renovations, we kindly ask our community to **temporarily refrain from donating clothing and other non-food items**.

During this transition, our storage and sorting areas are extremely limited, and we want to ensure we can safely manage the donations we receive while construction is underway.

✅ **Food donations are still greatly needed and appreciated.**

We are incredibly grateful for the support, generosity, and patience our community has shown throughout this process. Your kindness continues to help us serve our neighbors in need during this challenging time.

We will share updates as soon as we are able to resume accepting clothing and household item donations.

A new pathway toward housing stability is here. Beginning July 1, eligible Kansans may be able
to have certain eviction records expunged, creating new opportunities for housing and a fresh
start.
