Today, to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, we followed Our Lord out into the world in a Eucharistic Procession. The rain, though a bit uncomfortable, didn't hinder our devotion. What a beautiful witness to the conviction of the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament!

Today's Solemnity, also known as the Feast of Corpus Christi, celebrates Jesus as truly present with us in the Eucharist.

In the breaking of the bread, we are nourished with the Body and Blood of Christ. May we receive Him with reverence and carry His presence into the world through acts of charity and mercy.

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.” John 6:56

In April, people across ArchKCK shared powerful stories through Listening with the Heart sessions—stories of faith, belonging, and hope.

Now, we invite you to be part of the next step.

Through June 22nd, the archdiocese is asking everyone to complete a short survey that will shape the future of our pastoral planning, as part of the Archdiocesan Renewal from the Heartland process.

Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Boniface, a courageous missionary known as the “Apostle of Germany.”

Born in England in the 7th century, he left everything behind to preach in unfamiliar lands and helped reform the Church in Europe. He is also remembered for his fearless act of cutting down the pagan “Thor’s Oak” to show the power of the true God.

St. Boniface, pray for us!

Join us to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi.

Lord, open our hearts to Your word today. In the busyness of life, may we stop to listen, trust, and follow where You lead.

Speak, for your servant is listening. (1 Samuel 3:10)

Saint Justin Martyr was one of the first Christian apologists. He showed that Christianity isn’t blind belief but a truth that can withstand questioning and thoughtful reflection.

A fearless defender of Christianity in the 2nd century, he sought truth with his whole heart, and gave his life for it.
