ONE GOSPEL. ONE SAVIOR. ONE HOPE.

That's where we landed in Galatians 2 this Sunday.

But here's the question we're still thinking about:

What does that hope look like on a Tuesday afternoon?

Not just inside a church building. Not just in a Sunday service. But right here in Ottawa.

So let's talk.

👇 Three questions for our community:

1. What gives you hope when life feels uncertain?

2. Who has been a source of hope in your life—and what did they do that made a difference?

3. Who might need a little hope from you this week?

Maybe it's a phone call.
A cup of coffee.
A listening ear.
A prayer.
A simple "I'm thinking about you."

We believe the hope we have in Jesus isn't meant to stay inside the church.

It's meant to be shared.

Tell us your thoughts below. We'd love to hear from you.

Join us Sunday, August 9th

ONE GOSPEL. ONE SAVIOR. ONE HOPE.

We live in a world filled with different beliefs, different paths, and different ideas about what will bring us peace, purpose, and hope.

So how do we know what is true?

This Sunday, we're continuing our journey through Galatians 2:1–10, where Paul and the early church wrestled with an important question:

Can the gospel be changed—or is there something worth holding onto, even when the world around us says otherwise?

Paul's answer is clear: the good news of Jesus isn't ours to rewrite.
There is one gospel.
One Savior.
One hope.

And the beautiful part: this gospel isn't reserved for a select few. The invitation of Jesus is for everyone.

You don't have to
have everything figured out to come.
You don't have to
agree with everything to come.
You don't have to
have a church background to come.

Just come and explore.

What has shaped the person you've become?
Was it a parent?
A teacher?
A friend?
A difficult season?
An unexpected act of kindness?

This Sunday we'll discover how one encounter with Jesus completely redirected the life of the Apostle Paul—and what that means for us today.

We'd love to have you join us.

Who do you trust when everyone seems to have a different version of the truth?

We live in a world full of opinions, headlines, influencers, podcasts, and social media feeds—all competing for our attention. Sometimes it's hard to know what's true.

That isn't a new problem.

Nearly 2,000 years ago, the Apostle Paul wrote to a group of believers who were struggling with the very same question. They were hearing different messages about God, faith, and salvation, and Paul didn't mince words. He reminded them that there is one message that never changes: the good news of Jesus Christ.

This Sunday we'll continue our journey through the book of Galatians as we explore Galatians 1:6–10 and discover why the truth of the gospel still matters today.

You'll also hear an inspiring story from one of our campers about a simple act of faith that reminded us what happens when we see people the way Jesus does.

If you've ever wondered how to find solid ground in a confusing world, we'd love to have you join us.

What a wonderful evening of music, fellowship and sweet memories we had at our Gospel SingAlong this past Sunday as we partnered with the Gaithers!

We sang familiar favorites—and a few that weren't quite as familiar—thanks to the wonders of technology. Some sang the melody, others jumped in with harmony, and before long we were clapping along and simply enjoying making music together.

One of the best parts of the evening was the fellowship around the table afterward. Pie, cake, ice cream, conversation, laughter, and shared memories made for a sweet ending to a wonderful night.

Whether you love to sing every note or simply enjoy listening and being with others, there's a place for you.

Save the date! Our next SingAlong will be Sunday, August 23, featuring special guest pianist and worship leader, Jeff Kephart. More details will be coming soon, and we hope you'll invite a friend to join you!

What's one gospel song that always brings a smile to your face? Share it in the comments—we'd love to hear!

"What if the way you see life is shaping the life you live?"

Every day we're surrounded by voices telling us what to believe, how to measure our worth, and where to find hope. It's easy to lose sight of what is actually true.

That's why we're beginning a new series through the book of Galatians.

Together we'll explore questions like:
• How do I know what's true?
• Who or what is shaping my perspective?
• What gets in the way of seeing Christ clearly?
• How can God's grace change the way I see myself, others, and the world around me?

Sometimes the biggest changes in life don't happen because our circumstances change—they happen because our perspective does.

This Sunday we'll begin with Galatians 1:1–10, where Paul challenges us to recognize the voices that compete for our attention and points us back to the unchanging truth of the gospel.

We'll also share in Communion, remembering the incredible grace of Jesus and the hope we have because of Him.

Whether you've been in church your whole life, have questions about faith, or are simply looking for hope in a confusing world, we'd love to welcome you.

Join us this Sunday at Ottawa Missionary Church. Service begins at 10:30am

Come discover how seeing Christ more clearly can change everything.
