Two things this morning:

Thank you to everyone who donated school supplies or money for school supplies for the CG Elementary. All of those supplies were delivered last week and will help students who don't have what they need for a successful school day.

Please include the students, teachers, administrators and support employees in your prayers. We want a productive, happy and safe school year.

The Christian Church has collected school supplies for CG Elementary for a number of years and will do so again this year. Collection boxes will be under the coat racks in the foyer on July 26, August 2 and 9. Class supply lists are on the school website: cgbulldogs.org. If you don't want to shop, you may make a monetary donation to Elaine Mayberry, Pastor Geoff, Missy Watt or put it in the collection plate in a clearly marked envelope. (Checks payable to Elaine Mayberry, please.) If you want to mail your donation, the church's address is 105 S. Broadway, Columbus Grove 45830. Thank you for supporting this project.

Ladies, I'd love to invite you to join our new Women's Christian Book Club! Each month, we'll read a book by a Christian author and gather together to discuss what we've read, encourage one another, and enjoy meaningful fellowship.

A big thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Pancake and Sausage meal by the Columbus Grove Christian Church. Volunteers who do the planning, prep, and serving are awesome. A shoutout to the CG Leo Club for their help — allows us not-so-young folks to make it to 7:00 without limping too bad. Over 900 meals were served and 800 packages of frozen sausage were sold.

There is frozen sausage available. $5 per package. Call the church office at 419-659-2182 and leave a message with your name, call back number and how many packages you want. We will call you back to make arrangements for pick-up. Great idea for family cook outs this summer or tailgating this fall!

I think someone said next year will be our 75th year — April 29, 2027!
