A few of the ladies gathered the make some blankets under Judy's guidance. No one finished theirs completly because we got distracted chatting, enjoying the time to fellowship and of course playing with the baby. We missed those of you could not attend and look forward to doing it again so you can join us next time.

HOMEWORK QUESTIONS:
• How could you remind yourself to pray this week for Christians who are suffering hardship for their faith?
• What is one interpersonal conflict that you need to try to work out this week, and how can you better seek the Holy Spirit's guidance and direction to do so?

PRAYER PROMPT FOR THE WEEK: As we meditate on this lesson, and this passage of Scripture throughout the remainder of the week, let’s approach it prayerfully:
• Let's thank God for being the "Father of mercies and God of all comfort," and ask Him to open our eyes this week to someone who is hurting, so we can share the same comfort we’ve received from Him.
• Pray for the grace to completely surrender our own strength and self-reliance, asking the Lord to help us trust entirely in Him when we face overwhelming circumstances.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to guide our words and our plans, praying that we would handle interpersonal conflicts with the same sincerity, patience, abundant love, and wisdom that Paul showed to the Corinthian church.

Thanks for joining us, y’all! Be BLESSED and encouraged in the Lord!

It’s so easy to get stuck looking backward, isn’t it? We cling to things we wish we could change, replaying them over and over in our minds. It can feel like carrying around a heavy load filled with regret, guilt, and past mistakes—constantly reminding ourselves where we fell short. I’ve felt that weight too, especially in moments when I’ve wished I could go back and make different choices.

But Paul reminds us in Philippians 3:13-14 that what’s behind us is meant to stay there. When we fixate on the past, it can keep us from growing and moving into what God has ahead for us. There’s real freedom in letting go of what’s behind and reaching forward to what’s in front of us, just as Paul describes.

God invites us to keep moving forward—to pursue the purpose He’s set before us. That doesn’t mean we ignore what we’ve learned, but it does mean we stop allowing the past to shape our future. We are also reminded in Isaiah 43:18-19 that there’s something new and greater ahead, waiting for those who are willing to leave the old behind.

So let’s keep moving forward into the new things God has prepared, without letting past regrets or mistakes hold us back!

HOMEWORK QUESTIONS:
• What can you do now to be better prepared to share hope with a person who experiences the loss of a loved one in the future?

PRAYER PROMPT FOR THE WEEK: As we meditate on this lesson, and this passage of Scripture throughout the remainder of the week, let’s approach it prayerfully:
• Let's thank Jesus for overcoming death and giving us the ultimate victory over sin and the grave, asking Him to fill our hearts with the joyful hope of our future resurrection, and to remove all fear.
• Pray for anyone in our church family who is currently grieving the loss of a loved one, asking the Holy Spirit to comfort them with the absolute certainty that we will see our beloved fellow believers again.
• Ask the Lord for the strength and endurance to be steadfast and immovable, praying that He would help us to abound in His work, fully confident that our labor for Him is never in vain, and that we would continue to work to spread this message of hope in Jesus and win as many lost souls to Christ as we can.
