St. James’ is a welcoming Christian community in Oskaloosa, gathered in prayer and worship of Jesus Christ and rooted in classical Christian tradition.

We exist to worship God, make Him known, and walk together as we grow in faith. Beautiful St. James Episcopal Church is located at the corner of North 3rd Street and First Avenue East in Oskaloosa. You can't help but notice our beautiful bell tower.

Almighty God, whose Son our Savior Jesus Christ was lifted high upon the cross that he might draw the whole world to himself: Mercifully grant that we, who glory in the mystery of our redemption, may have grace to take up our cross and follow him; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting.
