This past Sunday was a powerful and emotional service as we welcomed Pastor Wilfredo Reyes back to the pulpit for the first time in over 2 years!
He brought a timely word on being formed into the image of Christ, reminding us that sometimes the deepest work God does within us happens in the middle of our greatest pain, trials, and difficult circumstances.
God can use even the most painful seasons to shape us into the image of Jesus.
The trials we face are not the end of our story. In the hands of God, even our hardest moments can become part of the process of transformation, drawing us back to the life of Christ within us; the hope of glory.
As Colossians 1:27 reminds us, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
Sometimes God changes our circumstances. Other times, He uses those circumstances to change us.
The goal isn’t simply to get through the process. It’s to become more like Christ through it. 🙏
