It does not require a great deal of time, energy, or money to transform an ordinary kitchen into a magickal workplace. Here is a Valentine's Day Treat. A Valentines Day Spell from my book: 2025 Almanac of Spells and Wisdom.

February 14th: Love and Romance Spell

Intent: To attract love and romance into your life, enhancing existing relationships or drawing a new, meaningful connection.

Materials You Will Need:
• Red or pink candle
• A small bowl of love herbs (such as rose petals, lavender, or hibiscus) or a few drops of essential oil
• A piece of rose quartz or garnet crystal (optional)
• A few drops of rose or ylang-ylang essential oil
• A piece of paper and a pen

Instructions:

Choose a cozy and inviting space where you can focus on love and romance. Gather the materials you will need and take several deep breaths to center yourself and set your intention.

Light the red or pink candle, symbolizing love, passion, and romance. As the candle burns, say:
"Flame of red, flame of pink,
Draw love and romance, let hearts sync."

Place the love herbs into the bowl or add a few drops of essential oil. Herbs like rose petals, lavender, and hibiscus are known for their associations with love and romance. If using a crystal, place it in or near the bowl to enhance the energy. Say:
"Herbs of love, oil so sweet,
Bring romance to my heart, make it complete."

Add a few drops of rose or ylang-ylang essential oil to the herbs or directly into the bowl. These oils are known for their love-attracting and romantic properties. Say:
"Oil of rose, oil of ylang-ylang,
Love and romance, to me you’ll bring."

On the piece of paper, write down your specific desires for love and romance. Examples include “I attract true love and meaningful connections,” “Romance and affection flow into my life,” or “My heart is open to love and passion.”

Hold the paper with your love intentions in your hands and close your eyes. Visualize the red or pink flame surrounding you with a warm, loving light, drawing love and romance into your life. Say:
"With these words, love I seek,
Romance and passion, fill my week."

Lightly sprinkle the herbs around your space or anoint yourself with the essential oil. Visualize this action creating an aura of love and romance around you. Say:
"Herbs and oil, love impart,
Romance and joy, fill my heart."

Spend a few moments visualizing yourself in a loving, romantic relationship. Imagine the joy, affection, and connection that you desire, and see it manifesting in your life.

When you feel the energy of love and romance has been set, thank the elements and energies for their support. Blow out the candle, saying:
"The flame has dimmed, but love remains,
Romance and affection, guide my gains."

Keep the piece of paper with your love intentions in a place where you can see it regularly, such as in a personal journal or on a bedside table. You may also carry the crystal with you as a reminder of the love and romance you've invoked.

Additional Tips:
• Perform this spell when you wish to attract new love, enhance an existing relationship, or deepen romantic connections.
• Use the rose quartz or garnet crystal to amplify the energies of love, passion, and romance.
• Engage in self-care and open-hearted activities to support the spell’s effects and invite love into your life.

May this spell bring you the love and romance you seek, filling your life with affection, joy, and heartfelt connections.
