🌟Testimony Tuesday!🌟

This is Elder Atkin! He is currently a service missionary in the Idaho Pocatello Mission and also served in the Argentina Córdoba Mission!

Elder Atkin was asked to share his testimony on the Book of Mormon!

He said, “I believe with all my heart and soul that The Book of Mormon is true. I know this through confirmation from the spirit and the testimonies of Jesus Christ within. When read with a sincere heart and in the attitude to learn of Christ you can see that it truly testifies of Christ in the purest way. I urge everyone to read it looking for Christ, not just to see if it’s true. I also promise that if you read it with a sincere hear and ask sincerely then you will know of its truth. I know that this book is true and is the work of God, I know Joseph Smith truly translated it, and did not write it, and most importantly it testifies of Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ amen.”

Sister Crawford was asked to share her testimony on Jesus Christ!

She said, “The greatest joy in this life is Jesus Christ. As you invite Him into your heart, you can be made new. Jesus Christ has taken all the broken parts of me and is mending them into who God knows I can become. I have come to know Jesus Christ personally as my older brother. He is my Savior and my Advocate. I am so grateful I get to go through this mortal journey with my big brother by my side. It is because of Him that I feel true and lasting joy in my life. As someone who suffers from depression, sometimes it feels like darkness is surrounding me, but Jesus Christ has a light bright enough to carry me through the darkness and pain. He is always with me. I love Jesus Christ, and I know He loves me!”

He said, “I have a testimony that doing the Lord's work will change you and the people that you help. I was blessed to be able to serve on a teaching and now a service mission. It is a huge privilege to serve at the temple more and to help so many people progress. I know that when we serve with all that we have and minister to the one that it will help us to feel joy and peace that isn't temporary. Being the lord's eyes and hands is a wonderful opportunity and helps us to be more christlike. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”

He said, “I know our Heavenly Father listens to every single one of us! And answers our prayers, we just need to have the ear to hear his answer. There was a time where it was very hard for me to hear him, I just didn’t know what to look/listen for! But through the love and guidance of our Savior Jesus Christ, I’ve found the way our Heavenly Father communicates with me. And I know if you look for it too, you’ll find your way!”
