A team of BYU students is partnering with United Way of Utah County to assess the mental health needs of the youth in the following Orem neighborhoods:

Stonewood (west of State St. and east of 400 W between 400 S and 800 S)

Lakeridge/Westmore (west of State St. and east of 400 W between 800 S and University Parkway)

Cherry Hill (west of State St. and east of Main St. between University Parkway and approximately 2000 S)

If you live in one of these neighborhoods and have children aged 3-18 in your home, please follow the link to take a quick, 10-minute survey. Thank you! The survey is anonymous and the information gathered will be used to help evaluate how to expand resources in these areas.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming Face to Face with President Eyring and Elder Holland.

The event will be streamed live on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. MST on LDS.org, face2face.lds.org, the LDS Youth YouTube channel, and the LDS Youth page. This event can be used in whole or in part for a Mutual activity, or youth can also watch with their friends or family at home.

Tune in early for the broadcast premier of “Ask of God—Joseph Smith’s First Vision,” a stunning new video portraying the First Vision, starting at 10:45 a.m. MST.

Purpose
Youth will learn about the principle of prayer as a way to receive answers to their questions. They will hear examples of answered prayers from the scriptures and from Church leaders.

Description
Participate in this worldwide broadcast featuring a discussion with President Henry B. Eyring, First Counselor in the First Presidency, and Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. All youth are invited to watch and invite their friends and family to join in this experience to learn about prayer as part of the 2017 Mutual theme.
