So - we are in Nauvoo this week. A couple from church came down to see what it was all about. They noticed the "persecution complex" the LDS tend to have. And how they tend to swallow something whole from the higher ups or their history. This hole in the door is supposedly the hole from one of the bullets that killed Joseph Smith. They consider him a martyr. He had a gun for self defense and used it, killing one of "the mob" while he was running across the room in order to jump out the window. I would like to know the LDS definition of martyr. It not the same as mine.

This saddens us so much. That Dallas Jenkins could be still so deceived. Also, if the LDS can see their Jesus then what does it say about how He's portrayed?

We're watching this Friday in the class we are teaching. It's the 1st 40 minutes of the 2 hour version. If you don't hve time to watch the whole thing the shorter version is a good start.
