Love this!!

I love this painting of the Sower, sowing stars. It is Starlight Sower, by Hai Knafo (2011).

It was inspired by Psalm 97:11, ""Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart" (ESV). I wonder if this psalm was the inspiration for Jesus' parable of the sower.

A Memorial Service for Reverend Luverne A. "Jake" Jacobson will be held at Zoar Lutheran Church in Canby on Saturday, June 13 at 1:00 pm.

Pastor Jacobson served Zoar Lutheran Church from 1979 to 1997.
