Did you know that the details of Jesus’ crucifixion were written down over 100 years before crucifixion was even invented? 🤯

This Sunday, we hunt for our second "Easter Egg"—a prophecy from the Old Testament that points directly to Jesus. We will look at the "Suffering Servant" in Isaiah 53.

Isaiah describes a Savior who:

* Had no outward majesty to attract us.
* Was despised and rejected by men.
* Was pierced for our transgressions.

We often think of "healing" as purely physical, but as we will see in 1 Peter 2, the wounds of Jesus offer something much deeper: spiritual healing. He took the "bad news" of our sin so we could receive the "good news" of His righteousness.

Whatever has caused you to wander like a lost sheep, remember: the Shepherd is waiting for you to return.

We’re kicking off a brand-new series this Sunday at Park Place Church: "Easter Eggs: Traces of Jesus Across Time." We aren’t just talking about plastic eggs and candy—we’re hunting for the hidden prophecies of Jesus buried deep in the Old Testament.

Join us as Pastor Josh connects the dots between a garden in Genesis and a cross in the New Testament. Come discover why Jesus was never "Plan B."

So excited that our new sermon series is starting this coming Sunday.

We are going to be spending time looking at the core doctrines of the faith.

Doctrine means teachings-it is not a scary word. In fact, studying the doctrines strengthens our faith.

If you want to go deeper, the church library has some fantastic books on doctrine you can check out as well.

This year our toy drive blessed 26 families! What a joy it was to watch parents come in “shop” and then spend time wrapping gifts while enjoying festive music and treats.

This amazing community outreach would not be possible without the help of FOX 12 Oregon, Lesschwab in picking us a community partner to distribute the toys.

Big shoutout to StandAlone Landscape Services, LLC - CCB 251179 for once again renting the UHaul for us to pick up the toys. They are an outstanding landscaping company in our area that cares deeply about the community. So thankful for their support.

Nortek Air Solutions for allowing 6 of your employees to volunteer to help. They were amazing and super helpful!

Thank you to The Pacific Conference for the grant to help buy wrapping supplies and other little things that were needed to make the event happen.

As a church we are honored to work with so many individuals and companies to help bless our community.

May the Lord bless you all for the effort you all contributed to this event.
