The world tries to tell us daily who we are and whose we are, but you are not defined by what others say about you; you are defined by who God says you are. Remember, God is your creator, and His love for you is unwavering!

At some point in each of our lives, we have had to deal with a bully, whether as a child or as an adult. However, bullies lose their power when you stand firm in your identity and know that you belong to God. With God on your side, no one can stand against you!

Pastor RO asks the question: "Happiness, where does it come from?"
You are a cherished child of God, and that truth is unshakeable. Many seek happiness in fleeting things—material possessions, social status, or personal achievements—but true joy comes from centering your life around God. His love is unparalleled, and it fills the deepest voids in our hearts.

All of us crave a sense of belonging.

When asked what does she think made her successful, Dolly Parton said, “I never tried quitting, and I never quit trying.”

Consider the Samaritan woman at the well; she found acceptance and love in Jesus, despite what society deemed acceptable.

As Luke 6:38 reminds us, “Give, and it will be given to you.” Take the time to reach out to someone different from you, showing love in the way Jesus has shown us.

Embrace the gift Jesus offers. Trust in His promises, for He is faithful. Seek Him earnestly, and you will find Him. Open your heart to God through His son, Jesus Christ.

Our greatest needs are joy and peace. Share your testimonies; they are your most powerful messages! Stand tall in your identity, knowing that you are loved, accepted, and destined for greatness.

In John 3:21 (NIV), we are reminded, "But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God." This verse beautifully encapsulates the essence of love—truth shining brightly in our lives.

What is love? Is it merely an emotion or a fleeting interest? In its many forms, love transcends surface feelings; it is a profound connection rooted in understanding and compassion. The Bible teaches us that God is love (1 John 4:8), and it's through Him that we comprehend the depth of true affection.

In a world often shrouded in conflict and misunderstanding, many struggle to grasp the meaning of love. Yet, Christianity stands unique in its foundation on love, as Christ exemplified unconditional love—Agape love. This divine love is not just a concept; it is a transformative force.

When we feel unloved, anxiety can fill our hearts. However, it is essential to recognize that before we can truly give love, we must first embrace it. Just as Helen Keller radiated love because she had received it, we too can share this gift only when we acknowledge the profound love God has for us. Remember, God loves you unconditionally, and nothing can diminish that love.

Faith is our response to this divine love. The cross symbolizes the ultimate expression of love and sacrifice, showing us that true love is selfless. We must find peace in the knowledge that we are cherished, laying our burdens at the foot of the cross.

Consider the question posed at the beginning of this message: if faced with a choice between saving a person or a dog drowning, knowing saving the dog would be easier and there would be a good chance if you choose to save the person they might in the chaos of trying to save themselves pull you under. Who would you choose to save if given just one choice? This choice reflects our values and priorities. As Christians, we are called to extend love, even to those who may hurt us.

Let us strive to be part of the solution, choosing to love and uplift one another. In doing so, we embody the essence of Christ’s message, transforming ourselves and the world around us. Embrace love, share love, and be the light in someone else's life.

Sunday service 2/22/26

Is temptation a sin?

Remember, temptation itself isn't sinful; it’s how we respond that defines our actions.

In Matthew 4:1-11, even Jesus was led into the wilderness to face temptation. It’s a natural part of our journey. Temptation is not just a challenge; it’s an opportunity for growth. Without it, we wouldn’t have the chance to develop our character and deepen our faith.

Struggles are essential. They shape our souls and strengthen our resolve. Instead of trying to bypass these challenges, let’s seek God’s strength to navigate them. Jesus faced the tempter with the Word of God—let us do the same.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, as if everything is going wrong all at once. But remember, while challenges may come our way, our God is greater! Even in our toughest moments, we must immerse ourselves in His Word, preparing for the wilderness experiences that shape us.

In those wilderness times, God sends His ministering angels, often in the form of the people around us. Psalm 91:9-13 reassures us that when we make the Lord our refuge, no harm will overcome us. He commands His angels to guard us in all our ways.

We all must face our wilderness to build character, faith, and spirit. So let’s embrace the journey, trusting that each struggle is a step toward our growth. God sees our motives and walks with us every step of the way.

Keep faith, stay strong, and know you are never alone.

Hey everyone!

We have some exciting events coming up that you won't want to miss! Join us this Saturday at 8:30 AM for our Men’s Group. It's a great opportunity to come together, share, and grow stronger in our faith.

Ladies, mark your calendars for February 14 at 1 PM! Bring three $1 gifts for a fun game that will surely brighten your day.

On February 15, join us for a special message from Mrs. Rosemary at 10 AM. She has an amazing message about love that God has placed on her heart, and you won’t want to miss it!

Also, don’t forget our Wednesday Night Bible Study at 7 PM, where we’ll dive into Genesis with Ms Angie.

Remember, “Focus on your position, not your condition.” As believers, our position is in Jesus. Roy shares a powerful story about how our names and sins are written on a piece of paper that, once folded and placed in an envelope (representing Jesus), becomes unseen. In Him, we only see what is—His love and grace!

Life may be tough, but together we can get tougher. Let's support each other! Please send your prayers of peace, healing, and love for Ms. Laurie during this time.

Looking forward to seeing all of you there! Let's uplift one another and grow together in faith! 🙏💖

Blessings!
