Another amazing Sunday! Baptism, communion, and discovering that our identity isn't found in success, popularity, relationships, or achievements. It's found in Christ.

From the opening chapter of Ephesians, Paul tells us that we are chosen by the Father, adopted into His family as His children, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. And none of that is based on what we do, but by what Christ has already done for us.

We can’t wait to see through the rest of Ephesians who else God says we are!

Jim Elliot gave his life trying to reach a people group that had never heard the Gospel. To many, it looked like a waste.

But God wasn't finished.

Years later, through the faithfulness of believers who followed, many from that tribe came to know Christ.

The lesson? We don't measure success by immediate results. We measure faithfulness by obedience.

Paul ended Acts the same way he lived his life: "He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!"

Yesterday, we closed out our series on the book of Acts. We saw how from the beginning, God's plan has always been bigger than one people group, one nation, or one culture.

In Acts 28, Paul reminds us that God's salvation is for all people. The Gospel isn't just for those who look like us, think like us, or live like us. God's desire has always been to gather people from every tribe, tongue, and nation into His family.

If we want a heart for the nations, we must first recognize that this has actually been God's plan all along.

"All peoples on earth will be blessed through you." — Genesis 12:3

Who is God calling you to love, serve, and share Jesus with this week?

During the season of Pentecost we remember that God’s Holy Spirit lives within us and empowers us to live our lives as a witness to the truth of the Gospel.

Pastor James explains why we celebrate the Season of Pentecost in the Christian year. During Pentecost we are reminded that God lives in us through His Holy...

Often we are using the wrong fuel in trying to live our Spirit-filled life.

We can stay busy, serve, attend church, and do all the “right things,” but if we’re fueled by anything other than the presence of God, we’ll eventually run empty.

In Acts 13, the church in Antioch wasn’t fueled by programs or personalities. They were fueled by worship, prayer, fasting, and the Holy Spirit.

We pray we allow our time in God’s presence to propel us to share Jesus with those who need Him.

Sometimes we build walls that Jesus already tore down.

God doesn’t judge us by our culture, ethnicity, background, or past. Through Jesus, salvation is available to everyone who believes.

May we be people who welcome others with the same grace God has shown us.
