The Lindsay Clancy trial is forcing our nation to confront a horrifying reality: three children are dead, and people are debating how much responsibility their mother should bear for their deaths.

But this conversation is bigger than one trial.

We have created a culture where the value of a child’s life can become dependent on whether that child is wanted.

We cannot normalize the killing of children in one circumstance and then act shocked when the sanctity of life is violated in another.

This is not just political. It’s not just cultural. It’s SPIRITUAL.

Every child is made in the image of God. Every child has value. Every child deserves protection.

The Church must have the discernment to recognize what we are actually fighting and the courage to stand for LIFE.

Orange County, it’s time to stop tolerating Jezebel.

Jesus’ rebuke to the church in Thyatira wasn’t simply that Jezebel was operating—it was that the church was tolerating it.

“But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel…” — Revelation 2:20

This Sunday, Pastor Les Cody is joining us as we continue our Spiritual Warfare series with a message exposing the Jezebel spirit and calling the Church to repentance.

We don’t want to tolerate what Jesus confronts. We want to be a holy Church—fully surrendered to Him.

The battle is real, but there is a GREATER presence in the battle.

Spiritual warfare was never meant to make us obsessed with darkness. Our confidence isn’t found in how much we know about the enemy—it’s found in knowing the supremacy of JESUS.

When Jesus shows up, demons flee.
When God arises, His enemies scatter.
When His presence enters, darkness HAS to respond.

We don’t war FOR His presence. We war FROM His presence.

Stop magnifying the power of the enemy and start living from the victory Jesus has already won.

This is ENCOUNTER-BASED WARFARE.

Spiritual warfare is not fought by focusing on the Enemy. It’s fought from a place of encounter with God.

When warfare hits:
Recognize it.
Refuse agreement with it.
Bring it into His presence.
Bring it under His Word.
Replace the lie with truth.
Exercise Christ’s authority.
Stay at the table.

This past weekend, Pastor Matt Wakefield taught us how to practice encounter-based warfare—remaining anchored in the presence of God and the truth of His Word when the Enemy attacks.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7

This past Sunday, we received a powerful word on rebellion and what it looks like to fully surrender to God.

The altar was filled with people hungry for more of Him—responding to His presence, laying things down, and choosing obedience.

This is what we’re contending for every week at Mercy Culture Orange County: a people who are hungry for the presence of God and willing to respond when He speaks.

Join us this Saturday at 4PM as we gather again.

Forgiveness isn’t optional for the believer.

Jesus didn’t say, “Forgive if they apologize.”
He said, “Forgive as your Father has forgiven you.”

When we refuse to forgive, we don’t just hold on to someone else’s offense—we imprison our own hearts. Scripture is clear: if we refuse to forgive others, we cannot expect to walk in the forgiveness God freely offers us.

Forgiveness does not mean calling sin good.
It does not excuse what happened.
It does not remove accountability.

We forgive the sinner because Christ forgave us while we were still sinners. Justice belongs to God. Our responsibility is obedience.

Who do you need to forgive today?

Lay down the offense. Break agreement with bitterness. Choose freedom.
