An Update From Eric:
The Norte Fire has already impacted people in our church and local cities, and our hearts are burdened for those impacted, those who have lost homes, those who are displaced, and those filled with uncertainty about the hours and days ahead. Please join me in praying that God will cause the fires to cease and for the firefighters and first responders who risk their lives to serve our communities so faithfully.
While news continues to unfold, this weekend in all of our worship services, we are going to come together in prayer for impacted communities, for those who are displaced, and for the firefighters and first responders deployed to combat the fires.
I am thankful we are not only a church in Southern California, but for Southern California, so we are currently learning about the needs of those impacted. With our food pantry network and clothing closets, we are ready to provide resources to those in need. Additionally, if you know someone displaced by the fire who does not have a place to stay, email [email protected] and our team will connect with you.
As details around additional ways to help become clearer, we will post updates and instructions to http://www.marinerschurch.org/disasterrelief on how you can help.
