A team of NMPC folks took part in a service project this afternoon at Dos Santos Food Pantry & Thrift Store in Onley. Dos Santos serves about 800 immigrant and agricultural worker families each month on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. NMPC volunteers were Steve & Donna Doan, Joan May, Mark Moring, and Suzanne Rogers.

Don't worry -- Summer isn't over *yet*, but we could use your help to get ready for Rally Day in September! If you need a first-time church photo or simply want a refreshed image, please mark your calendar for the last two Sundays in August. Megan will be set up during coffee hour. Open to all NMPC and FMPC members and friends!

Attention all knitters and crocheters!! We have successfully opened a wholesale account with Lion Brand Yarn Co., enabling us purchase the yarn we use for the prayer shawls at a cost of $4.35 per skein instead of the retail price of $8.99. If you normally purchase the yarn as part of your participation in this ministry, please consider getting the yarn from us and making a donation to the Prayer Shawl Ministry instead.
