OBC AWANA

OBC AWANA Awana is held at Onancock Baptist Church (behind the DMV) Sunday nights from 5:30-7:30pm. This is for children ages 4yrs. - 6th grade.

Awana is a committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. Founded in 1950 the AWANA Ministry is:
•An international nondenominational Bible-centered children's ministry
•Committed to the evangelism and discipleship of children
•Effective at getting the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the homes of families
•Dedicated to assisting the local

church in training parents to fulfill their role as the spiritual leaders of their children
•focused on missions both within the United States and also internationally

AWANA embraces five principles:

1.AWANA is centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ
2.Scripture memory is a key element
3.AWANA is exciting and fun
4.Children are trained to serve others just as Christ served
5.AWANA is built on volunteer leadership

Please help us spread the word. OBC AWANA will be kicking off on September 20th at 5:30pm with a pizza party. We will meet every Sunday night from 5:30 - 7:30pm, we hope your child can join us!
