Heartland Hope Mission is a faith-based 501(c)3 charitable organization founded to help the working poor by providing them with some of life's most basic staples. Our mission is to provide food, clothing and promote self-sufficiency for people in need. Heartland Hope Mission provides a week’s supply of food, clothing, hygiene items, SNAP assistance, community referrals, job resources, and financia
l classes. Because Heartland Hope Mission is a faith based organization, we also offer an encouraging word and prayer. When a family is trying to make a decision between food and an electric bill or rent, they are often unable to think past their current situation. Heartland Hope Mission provides food, hygiene items and clothing to help alleviate these immediate pressures. By doing so, we give hope, allowing these families to consider options that will improve their long-term condition. We also meet with our clients one-on-one to help connect them to the resources they need to become self-sufficient. Those wishing to participate in an encouraging word and prayer can attend if they wish, while those not wishing to attend are welcome to wait in a separate area.
