In Acts 18:23, we see Paul traveling to strengthen and encourage believers throughout the Church, and this week, Pastor Jon and his family will be traveling to Germany to visit the Walters family. Before relocating to Germany through military service, Chris and Cassi Walters served as Life Group leaders here at New Bridge. Since retiring from the military, Chris has stepped into a pastoral role at an international church, continuing to live out his calling to make disciples and serve others.
Please pray for Jon, Shawna, Malachi, and Selah as they seek to encourage and support the Walters family in their ministry. Pastor Jon is serving as a pastoral mentor to Chris and will also be learning more about their ministry context and exploring opportunities for future partnership between New Bridge and the work God is doing through the Walters family in Germany and beyond.  We are grateful for the ways God continues to connect His Church across communities, cultures, and nations, and we look forward to sharing more about this trip in the weeks ahead!

The most important question you may ask isn't, "What am I doing?" but "Who am I becoming?" Whether we realize it or not, we are all being formed by something. This Sunday in Acts 18, we'll see how God uses relationships, teachability, and mission to transform our lives. Don’t miss this opportunity to step into the transforming work God wants to do in and through your life!

“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?” - Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭7‬

God is present in EVERY aspect of our lives, so let’s lean into that reality. Let’s ask Him to show us where He’s at work, and for the courage to speak and act faithfully.

“The Lord said to Paul in a night vision, ‘Don’t be afraid, but keep on speaking and don’t be silent. For I am with you,...

“The Lord said to Paul in a night vision, ‘Don’t be afraid, but keep on speaking and don’t be silent.
For I am with you, and no one will lay a hand on you to hurt you, because I have many people in this city.’”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭18‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭

What do you do when following Jesus becomes discouraging? When faithfulness feels unnoticed, opposition feels exhausting, and you’re tempted to quietly retreat into survival mode? This Sunday in Acts 18, we’ll see how to live faithful in the ordinary days of our lives and discover the reassuring promise God gives in the middle of it all.

If you missed our time yesterday with Daniel, definitely go back and give it a listen. He gave some great insight into our passage in Acts 11, and shared some parallels with how God is at work in/through the global Church today.
