August at PVFC
🏫 PVFC became faith partners with Forest View Elementary. Pastors Melvin, Scott and Michelle met with principal Jason and toured the school and establishing goals and needs for our connection.
During the Olathe district back to school event PVFC provided bottled water for the visiting families, staff and students that attended.
On the first day back to school, PVFC provided eight dozen donuts for staff and along with several church members the Pastors greeted and welcomed back returning and new students with smiling faces.
✝ On the one-year anniversary of Pastor Melvin and Sister Peggys Pastoral service, the church honored and showed appreciation to them with a special service. A few of the highlights included a presentation of flowers and gift from the church by board members Bill Russell and Don Smith. As well as a song service with members of Pastor Melvins family and sermon by Vance Cauthon.

~Other events
🌺 PVFC Ladies group held an end of Summer Luau with lots of fellowship, goodies, door prizes and fun. Sharing the Christian sisterhood of love and togetherness.
✝ On the 30th we held a Baptism Service and celebrated Jeff F. being baptized. Thank you, Jesus, for this public showing of faith in you.
