First Church-OKC

First Church-OKC First Church OKC is a place where people can meet Jesus and engage in a life-giving community! Church is about connecting people to God and to one another.

If God calls you to First Church, we look forward to you being part of our family of faith as we partner with local schools, reach out to the downtown homeless population, collaborate with the OKC National Memorial and Museum, and make a difference in our neighborhoods. We look forward to seeing God’s continued work in our city. There is no debate that the best is yet to come for First Church and for OKC!

What an incredible time at Camp Cargill! ☀️

Our youth spent the last few days growing in faith, building friendships, worshiping together, and making memories that will last a lifetime. From games and activities to meaningful conversations and time spent with God, camp was filled with laughter, learning, and lots of fun.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for our group, supported our trip, and helped make this experience possible. We came home tired, inspired, and grateful for all God did during these three amazing days!

Being downtown gives us so many opportunities to be part of the life of our city, and one of those is hosting the City Chorus each week.
We’re grateful for the joy, community, and beautiful music they bring to this city!

Their music also helped make our Service of Remembrance especially meaningful, and we’re thankful for the way they shared their gifts with our church and community.

How often do we pause long enough to experience childlike wonder?

This week, we encourage you to find time to sit at the feet of Jesus. Listen closely. Lean in fully. Let yourself be amazed by His presence, His peace, and the little moments of grace all around you! ✨

Today is a day for quiet reflection. We remember the individuals who lost their lives in service, and we honor the grief of the families they left behind.

Our offices are closed today, May 25, in observance of the day.

What is Pentecost?

Pentecost is the day we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit to the disciples after Jesus’ resurrection and ascension.
Found in Acts 2, it marks the birth of the Church and reminds us that God’s Spirit is still moving, empowering, and bringing people together today.

On Pentecost, people from many nations heard the good news in their own language - a beautiful reminder that God’s love is for everyone.

It’s a day of:
Bold faith
New beginnings
The presence of the Holy Spirit
Unity in diversity

Feel free to wear red this Sunday as we celebrate the fire of the Spirit and the life of the Church together!
