As a people of faith, we celebrate the Good News that God has not left us abandoned but given us the gift of the Holy Spirit. Even with this truth, it is not uncommon to have moments where it seems God is silent or even absent. This week, we ask, "How can we seek out the Holy Spirit when God is silent?"

Know God DEEPLY to HEAR his voice

What an incredible week at VBS! ❤️

More than 165 children and 65 volunteers came together each day to learn what it means to Love Like Jesus through worship, games, crafts, activities, and service.

Our kids didn't just learn about kindness—they put it into action. Throughout the week, they completed chores, hosted lemonade stands, and found creative ways to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oklahoma City.

Together, they raised an amazing $2,300+ to support families with children receiving medical care. We couldn't be more proud of these generous and compassionate young people!

A huge thank you to every volunteer, parent, and child who helped make this week so special.

And yes... be sure to watch through the end to see Pastor Kyle receive a pie in the face after the girls claimed victory in our fundraising challenge! 🥧😂

Thank you for helping us Love Like Jesus.

This week, we continue our sermon series "Filled with the Spirit" as we consider ways in which we can listen for the voice of God speaking in our midst. Acknowledging we are not all the same, what are some of the different ways faithful individuals experience the voice of God in their lives? Come and find out this Sunday!

Wesley Church is proudly being represented at the 2026 OKUMC Annual Conference!

This year’s Annual Conference is being held at Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City, bringing together clergy and laity from across Oklahoma for worship, fellowship, and important conversations about the life of the church.

Pictured here is Rev. Mary Hughes bringing the message during tonight’s Memorial Service - a meaningful and sacred time of remembrance and celebration of faithful lives and ministry.

We are grateful for Rev. Hughes and proud to have Wesley represented during this special gathering of the Oklahoma United Methodist Conference. Please continue to keep all attending in your prayers throughout the remainder of Conference!
