Today in IMPACT Kidz, we explored Book of Psalms and talked about everything the Shepherd (God) provided for David.

I asked the students, “Why did David say, ‘My cup runneth over’?”

To help them understand, we used a simple illustration with a cup and water. The students were asked to name things their parents do for them — and with every answer, water was poured into the cup. Before long, the cup began to overflow.

That’s when it clicked 💡

The students realized David’s cup overflowed because of the many blessings God had given him — and because God would always be there for him.

Their understanding, excitement, and connection to the lesson made today so special. ❤️
