Okemos Community Church is an independent congregation, with a long and deep affiliation to the United Methodist Church. We also stream on Facebook and YouTube.

In-person worship is Sundays at 10am with Sunday School simultaneously. Office open M-Th. Okemos Community Church offers spirited worship that is biblically-based and traditional in style (hymns, choir, organ, piano). We value:
• a Love-based & Grace-filled Theology;
• an Ecumenical Spirit;
• an Open, Accepting & Inclusive Attitude;
• an Outward Focus through Service and Mission; and
• a Learning Atmosphere. Wherever you are in your journey of faith, you are welcome here. We are all in different places along the journey...some are wondering if there is God, some wanting to connect more deeply with God, others wanting to learn more about God, faith, Jesus, and life...still others are ready and anxious to put faith into action serving others. Come explore in a safe place, where questions are welcome.

The rummage sale this last weekend raised more than $7,000 for ministries with women and children - and it couldn't have happened without a huge amount of volunteer support! There are a few pictured here and even more we couldn't catch on camera. Thank you all! 🙏

Winnie-the-Pooh says, "Welcome!"

Our collection of 100 Acre Wood friends is expanding in our church entry as we continue in our worship series this month, exploring lessons of faith and wisdom through the stories of these timeless characters! So far, we've learned from Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, and dear old gloomy Eeyore. Who could be next? (Hint: he likes to bounce and there's a "double-guh" in the spelling of his name!)

"I wish Pooh were here," said Piglet once. "It’s so much more friendly with two." And we agree! So we've invited Winnie-the-Pooh to church.

Join us starting this Sunday in worship as we head to the 100 Acre Wood to learn lessons of wisdom from Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends. The stories of this lovable Bear of Very Little Brain have delighted children and adults who used to be children for a hundred years, and we're excited to see how they encourage us in our faith!
