Join us this Sunday, September 6th @ 9:30am as we finish up our "Songs for Every Season" series.

Would you trade almost three years of good days for just one day somewhere else? That sounds like a terrible deal… But in Psalm 84, the writer makes exactly that claim: “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere.”

A thousand to one, and the Psalmist doesn't hesitate. What did he know about being near God that could make him say something like that?

This Sunday, as we close out Songs for Every Season, we're going to follow his journey and discover why one day in God's courts could really be that much better.

September is here! Summer has sadly come to an end. We can look back and think about the things we wish we had done over the summer OR we can look forward and see all the opportunities that lay ahead for us.

Our hope is that as our schedules begin to fill up this Fall, you make sure to make your faith a priority. Give time to the God and His work in the church and He will give back to you ten-fold. We look forward to partnering with you to do great things for His kingdom. See you September 13th for Rally Sunday when we resume our regular schedule.

What happens when you open an old photo album? One picture can bring back a person, a place, a story you haven't thought about in years. The memory was still there… you just needed something to bring it back. Maybe that's why David begins Psalm 103 by talking to himself: “Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”

This Sunday, we'll open the photo album of faith and ask what happens when life makes us forget what God has done, who God has been, and how remembering might change the way we see what we're facing today.

SPECIAL OFFERING THIS SUNDAY: In addition to our regular weekly offering, we will receive a special offering to help provide school supplies for children right here in the Oconto Falls community. As students and families prepare for a new school year, this is a simple way for us to come alongside our neighbors and help make sure local children have what they need to begin the year well.

Join us Sunday, August 23 @ 9:30am.

How does a man go from asking God, “Have you forgotten me?” to standing before an enemy and declaring, “We trust in the name of the LORD our God”? Those words both came from David. He knew what it was like to question God, to wrestle with fear, and to wonder how long he would have to wait for an answer.
And yet, somewhere in the middle of all those questions, David learned something about trust. Not the kind of trust that comes because everything worked out exactly as he hoped, but a trust rooted in something deeper.
This week, we'll look at what David discovered, why Jesus tells us not to worry about tomorrow, and why Paul could make the astonishing promise that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
We'll also see why sometimes trusting God isn't just something I do… it's something we do together.
