“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.” – Matthew 28:6

Today we celebrate the power of the resurrection and the gift of new life through Jesus Christ.

What once seemed like defeat was turned into victory, and what once brought sorrow now brings everlasting hope.

Because He lives, we are reminded that death has been defeated, sin has been overcome, and grace is freely given.

The empty tomb is proof that God keeps His promises and that His love for us is unchanging.

May this Easter fill your heart with peace, renew your faith, and remind you that no matter the season you are in, there is always hope in Christ.

He is Risen indeed

October 2nd- Senior Adult Day at Dotson Camp from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. (Food and Fun included)

October 5th- service at Ridgeview Nursing Home starting at 2 p.m.

October 5th- Judgement House at Blooming Grove Baptist Church starting at 5:15 p.m. (bus transportation will be provided; RSVP required)

October 10th- Feed Carbon Hill High School Band @ 4:30 p.m. Those wanting to help be at church at 1:30 p.m.

October 18th- Dotson Camp. Bring soups and/or sandwiches

October 21st- Annual Meeting & Mission Fair at Dora 1st Baptist Church. Booths are from 5 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.; Worship/Business session starting at 7 p.m.

Our church bus ministry is starting back up, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store! If you or someone you know needs a ride to church, we’d love to help get you there.
