From all of us at 13 Life Ministries, Inc., THANK YOU for continually being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Because of your love, prayers, generosity, and willingness to serve, lives are being touched every single day. ❤️

Today, we are reaching out with an urgent need for a displaced family of 5 from Chicago — including 3 teenage children one has disability.We have been working alongside city officials, local churches, and community partners to help this family transition into stability. They do have a plan in place, but they will not have financial resources available until June 3rd.

At this time, they are temporarily staying at the Budget Inn in Jasper, and we are asking our community to come together once again to help cover:
• temporary lodging
• Food for a family of 5
• Basic daily needs during this difficult transition

This is what the Body of Christ looks like — loving people where they are and helping carry one another through hard seasons. We truly believe together WE CAN make a difference.

At 13 Life Ministries, we are incredibly grateful and thankful for organizations like the Association of Christian Recovery Ministries(ACRM) that remind us we were never called to do this work alone.

ACRM is more than meetings and trainings — it is the Body of Christ coming together in unity to strengthen, encourage, equip, and uplift one another for the work God has called us to do.

We are deeply thankful we get to do life with so many faithful men and women who believe that recovery is possible, healing is real,and Jesus Christ is the way to true freedom and life transformation.

Thank you to everyone serving, praying, giving, mentoring, and walking beside those fighting addiction and brokenness. Your obedience matters. Your compassion matters. Your love reflects Christ.

Today was a painfully beautiful reminder that recovery is possible, hope is alive, and none of us are alone.

So much LOVE and many resources.

From all of us at 13 Life Ministries, thank you to our incredible recovery community for the overwhelming love, support, encouragement, and unity shown at the 10th Annual End the Addiction Walk in Birmingham.

It was so powerful to see so many people courageously walking in recovery while also walking beside families and friends grieving the loss of loved ones to addiction. Every step carried a story. Every hug carried compassion. Every tear carried both pain and hope.

We continue this fight together — for healing, for restoration, for families, for freedom, and for the glory of God. We believe the best days are still ahead, and we remain hopeful for the future of our communities as people continue rising up to love, support, and serve one another.

Thank you to every person who walked, prayed, shared your testimony, volunteered, encouraged someone struggling, or simply showed up. Your presence matters more than you know.

Together we will continue restoring HOPE to the hopeless — one hand up at a time.

We are not the rebels — we are the rescue team.
