Solid Rock Baptist Church Solid Rock Baptist Church is a small church located in the Oakland Community Center in Oakland, MD. Todd Michaels started Solid Rock Baptist Church in 2008.

Solid Rock is located in the Oakland Community Center which once severed as the Oakland Armory. At solid Rock, we aim to create an environment for both long-term followers of Christ as well as newcomers looking to investigate possibilities. We understand that our modern world is a seeker sensitive culture and we want everyone's perception to matter. We welcome everyone to worship with us with open

and accepting warmth. At Solid Rock church we welcome questions and comments during our bible study time as well as our main service to create a sense of unity as well as keeping sermons fresh and relevant. We'd love to worship with you this coming Sunday :)

God doesn't just want a spot on our weekend schedule- He wants to be theirs and foremost at the center of our lives. When we put Him first, we stop striving to hold everything together on our own and start walking in His strength.
