Nutley CROP Hunger Walk – Sunday, October 18th at 12:30 pm
The Nutley CROP Hunger Walk will be held on Sunday afternoon, October 18th starting at Vincent Church (100 Vincent Place). Registration will begin at 12:30 with the walk beginning at 1 pm with a welcome and an interfaith prayer.
Walkers will walk south through Yanticaw Park before turning right onto Centre Street, right onto Franklin Avenue, and then right onto Vreeland Avenue and enter Memorial Park to walk south back to the church for 2 pm. Shorter and longer routes are available according to each person’s ability. As walkers return to the church, they will be appreciated for their effort to end hunger and enjoy fellowship and refreshments.
The walk is sponsored by the Nutley Clergy Fellowship. Walkers are encouraged to visit the general CROP Hunger Walk website (www.crophungerwalk.org) to find lots of fundraising tips along with activities for children, youth and adults to make it a fun and educational experience. The Nutley Walk page is Nutley CROP Hunger Walk where everyone is invited to register online, do promotion, collect sponsors, review walk information, share pictures to social media, and submit their donations.
Your efforts will help the hungry around the world with 25% of funds raised providing food for our neighbors in need through the Nutley Family Service Bureau Food Pantry and the Community Care Kitchen.

Why do we walk? We are ending hunger one step at a time!
