Celebrating Lag Ba’Omer- MyChinuch Project by Chabad Learning Foundation in collaboration with Chai Tots Preschool of Passaic.

“Lag Ba'Omer was one of the Mitteler Rebbe's particularly noteworthy festivals. He and the Chassidim would go out to the fields that day, and although he did not wash and break bread, he did partake of mashkeh (strong drink), which he was not allowed to do for health reasons. Celebrating Israel’s Independence Day - Yom Haatzmaut @ Chai Tots of Passaic in collaboration with Chabad Learning Foundation, MyChinuch Projects!

Today, Chai Tots of Passaic children looked at the Map of Israel and took a tour around the country, visiting fun sites and experiencing hands on through all their senses, the beauty and unique places of the land of Israel. We also spoke about the Kotel and Beis Hamikdash and listened to the hopeful anthem of the country that speaks of Hope for the Jewish nation who longed for a country to keep them safe.

Model Matzah Bakery @ Chai Tots of Passaic
“ …a government official once tried to force my father to give a Hechsher on flour that was to be used to bake Matzos for Pesach. My father answered….how can you force me to say that the flour is kosher for Pesach, when this is not true? ……In the end, the government officials let my father have his way.…When Jews go in the way of the Torah…it is a preparation for the Geula. For then there will be freedom for all humanity.” - The Rebbe speaks to Children, Vol. 2 (Nisan-Av), Pesach and the Jewish Children of Russia, p. 68-69.
