🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Today we give thanks for the gift and dignity of work, and for all those who labor each day to serve their families and communities.
🙏 May God bless all workers, especially those whose work often goes unseen. May we always remember that our worth is found not simply in what we accomplish, but in being beloved children of God.
St. Joseph the Worker, pray for us!

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.

people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.

people may cheat you.

🔥 ST. AUGUSTINE | AUGUST 28

For years, St. Augustine searched for truth in places that could never fully satisfy his heart. His mother, St. Monica, never stopped praying for him. Eventually, Augustine encountered Christ—and his life was completely transformed.

His story reminds us that God never stops pursuing us. No matter how far we wander, no matter how long we resist, His grace is always calling us home.

As St. Augustine famously prayed, “Our hearts are restless until they rest in You.”
Today, may we ask for the grace to seek God above everything else and to never believe that someone is too far from Him to be changed by His love.

🌿 ST. MONICA | AUGUST 27

Some prayers take years.
St. Monica spent nearly 17 years praying for the conversion of her son, Augustine. She never gave up. Her persistent prayers eventually bore fruit, and Augustine became one of the greatest saints and Doctors of the Church.

Her story is a beautiful reminder: keep praying, even when you don't see the answer. Keep trusting, even when the road seems long. God is always at work.
If there is someone you’ve been praying for, let St. Monica remind you today: don’t give up. 🙏
