C82

C82 C82 is a youth ministry of Northfield Baptist Church located in Northfield, OH. C82 exists to glorify God in all we do.

C stands for CREW (Christians Reaching and Encouraging the World) and 82 is for our location on Route 82! Our mission is Passion for God and Compassion for people based out of Mark 12:28-31,

28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

29 “The most important

one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

A big part of our youth group is learning how to serve others. This past month the teens served the retirees at a luncheon after church. The teens assisted with prepping the food the day before and day of, decorating, set up, serving the meal, clean up, and ate and interacted with our retirees. A great time was had by all.
