You’ve heard it said
If Life Gives You Lemons Make Lemonade…
But at our kids day Sunday we learned
If Life Gives You Potatoes Make French Fries!!

And we learned it from one of the children ..
So the lessons were all about not judging things or people from the outside because sometimes things are different than what the appear and so when the one young person won a game and was offered a prize (One wrapped in a bright bag with colorful tissue paper and feeling heavy and the other wrapped in beat up and wrinkled brown bag and feeling empty ) he chose the heavy bright colored one and it was a potato but without a second thought he said cool I can make french fries … He was then given the real prize in the other bag as well which was $5

My husband went on to preach a whole mini message about how sometimes we as adults are expecting one thing and get something else and we don’t react quite that grateful also sometimes we ask God for the french fries and he gives us the potato for us to do the work 😳😳
It was a super FUN day from winning potatoes to eating chocolate covered bugs 😂😂
And our own teacher Ms Martha praying over our kiddos to end the day!!
