THIS THURSDAY: Outreach has organized a Dine to Donate event on June 18 at the Avon Commons Red Robin restaurant. Red Robin will donate 20% of all the dine-in and to-go food sales that day to our church. A flyer photo may be presented at the restaurant in lieu of a paper flyer for our church to receive credit for the sale. Proceeds have been designated to support the Lotts Creek work project!

If you're looking for a practical and clear introduction to Q***r Theology this Pride Month, Pastor Kearstin recommends Radical Love by Rev. Dr. Patrick S. Cheng. It's one of her go-to reads that she goes back to again and again. It's a short book (160 pages), but it's incredibly powerful and affirming for LGBTQIA+ folks and those who love them! 🏳️‍🌈📘

In a world that can feel increasingly divisive, we at FCC are being intentional about working with our church partners in the area to come together and expand our communities. The wonderful folks at Washington Avenue Christian Church have invited us to join them for their June Bible, Burger, and Beer gatherings! More info below ⬇

We're doing it again: Bible, Burger, and Beer at The Foundry Kitchen & Bar in Elyria on the five Mondays in June from 5–7pm. Join us.

This time, we’re diving into the Gospel of John: the oddball gospel. John does not just tell us about Jesus, John invites us to slow down, look again, and notice what we may have missed. And honestly, that sounds like exactly the kind of thing worth doing around a table with good food, good drink, and good people.

We’ve been around for over 200 years! It’s so fun to look back on previous seasons of the church’s life and see how things have changed 🥰

Here’s a look inside the Congregational Church from the distant past. The beautiful stained glass and the organ pipes in the front-instead of hidden away in the choir loft!
