If you would like to walk with us in the Cleveland Pride Parade, there is a sign-up sheet on the table at the front of the sanctuary. ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Join us for the easy mile-ish walk on Saturday June 6th and help us represent First Congregational Church! You don't need to be a member in order to walk with us -- just email [email protected] to let us know you'll be coming ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

The march/parade kicks off at 11 am and is about a mile long through the (blocked off) streets of downtown Cleveland. The easy walk takes about an hour-ish starting at Public Square and ends at Mall C, where there is a bustling all-day festival featuring a diverse array of vendors - areas of interest include healthcare, activism, social groups and nonprofits - as well as live music, entertainment and DJs to keep you dancing all day. Stay and enjoy the festival or head home after the march - it's up to you! Because getting downtown and parking is difficult that day, we recommend taking public transportation (RTA rapid transit) and meeting in Public Square by 10:45 am.

People of all ages are welcome - bring wagons or strollers for little ones. You can even bring your dogs to walk with you! (must be kept on a leash)

Outreach has organized a Dine to Donate event for Thursday, June 18 at the Avon Commons Red Robin restaurant. Red Robin will donate 20% of all the dine-in and to-go food sales that day to our church. Fundraiser flyers needed to present at the restaurant will be available at church or you can photograph or screenshot the flyer with your smartphone to share with friends and neighbors. A flyer photo may be presented at the restaurant in lieu of a paper flyer for our church to receive credit for the sale. Proceeds have been designated to support the Lotts Creek work project!
