June is doubling May's rainfall totals and the average in Mankato for June is 5.64 inches. That average is consistent throughout southern Minnesota. So many areas are doubling and trying to triple the average with 8 days still to go in June. We thought the three month total of over 13 inches in March, April and May combined was a lot. June has decided to out perform that in less then a month. Places like Waseca and Faribault have already seen over 14 inches this month.
