Liberty Community Church

Liberty Community Church Relevant, reverent and Biblical music & teaching with a friendly community of believers. We have a casual, relaxed atmosphere, so come as you are!

Our mission is to glorify God by developing committed followers of Jesus Christ. We would describe our service as modern but reverent with practical Bible-based expositional teaching. Sermons at Liberty Community Church aim to be Biblical, accurate, and practical and typically are a series of sermons through a whole book of the Bible. Church Meetings:
Sunday 10am: Worship Service- Music & Teaching

God’s Word
Sunday 9am: Sunday School Discipleship Class
1st Sunday of the month 9am: The Lord’s Supper

Tuesday 7:30pm: Young Adult (18-30) Bible Study
Wednesday 6:30pm: Men’s Bible Study, Women’s Bible Study, AWANA, Youth Group for teens. We encourage you to bring your bible to church. ESV Bibles are available in the community room. Please ask a greeter if you need a Bible. During the 10am service, we have Nursery & Children's Church. Kids stay during the time of praise and worship music at the 10 am service and then are dismissed to attend children’s church groups that are geared towards their age levels. We also have a well-staffed nursery for little ones, 0-3 yrs. Want to stay as a family with the little ones? We have a "Family Room" where you can experience the service in a quiet and private environment, while still feeling like part of the service. Reserved parking for families with young children is available right in front. Don't rush out after the service! Stick around and enjoy some fresh coffee and desserts while you meet some new friends! We look forward to seeing you!

This week on WIHS through May 22, listen to Glenn Bryant Havumaki read his book Trashed or Treasured - a Short, Practical Theology of Aging

Beginning on Monday and running through May 22, Reading Room will feature Connecticut's own Dr. Glenn Havumaki, author of TRASHED OR TREASURED. The title, and phrase, reflects the theological perspective on aging, emphasizing that older adults are valued and respected by God.

Read by Dr. Havumaki himself, the book discusses how we treat older adults and the importance of reconnecting and caring for them within families and the church. It encourages the church to provide support and help older adults find purpose in their lives, viewing aging as a meaningful stage in life rather than a decline.

Reading Room airs weekdays at 1:30 am and 1:31 pm.
