On Sunday we wrapped up our Assumptions sermon series by breaking down the assumption that God is distant.

Assumptions in our faith can become barriers between us and God. Pastor Kyle and Connor Hopkins shared a convicting word reminding us that oftentimes when we feel God is distant, He’s really just trying to show us something.

While Hebrews reminds us not to neglect the assembly of believers, there are seasons when assembling looks different. Maybe from a hospital bed, at home, or during a shift at work. If that’s where you are right now, please know that joining us online does not make you any less a part of the Valley family.

We also recognize that our Sunday livestreams have recently made online participation more difficult due to technical issues. We are actively working to improve and rebuild our system so that attending services online is reliable and accessible.

The Lord ministered to many hearts this morning and reminded us so graciously through Pastor Rachel’s message that whatever feelings surround today, He truly does see and care for it all.
