Nooksack Christian Fellowship Church

Nooksack Christian Fellowship Church Join us Sundays at 11am. Our church roots trace back to the 1880s, and with many blessings brings us to today.

We are a Christ-centered church committed to gathering in worship around God’s perfect and living Word, serving one another and our community in the love of Christ, and discipling believers to grow in faith and obedience to Jesus. Quite a history that we will revisit in another venue. Sharing our core values is paramount:
The Word of God
Acceptance/Welcome
Relationships
Families and Youth
Connecting

We have several ministries for preaching, teaching and studying God's Word.

The waves may be big. The challenges may be real. The future may feel uncertain.
But our God is bigger than every obstacle, every fear, and every impossible situation.
"With God all things are possible." — Matthew 19:26

Day 2: Life's Unpredictable Storms
Reading: Psalm 46:1-11

Devotional: Life resembles a roller coaster we cannot exit until we reach eternity. The disciples experienced this truth when a sudden storm arose on the Sea of Galilee. They were halfway across, in darkness, with contrary winds threatening their progress. Yet Jesus had already told them their destination: "Go to the other side." God never promised an easy journey, but He did promise His presence. When storms arise in your life—and they will—remember that God commanded you to be strong and courageous. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The question isn't whether storms will come, but whether you'll trust God's presence in the midst of them.

Day 1: Worth It All

Reading: Philippians 3:7-11

Devotional: Paul declares that everything he once valued as gain, he now counts as loss compared to knowing Christ Jesus. This radical perspective challenges us to examine what truly holds our attention and affection. Are we living as though Jesus is worth everything, or have we allowed temporary concerns to dominate our focus? The things we worry about, strive for, and build on our own will fade in the light of eternity. Today, consider what you need to set aside to have all of Jesus. Make a declaration that no matter what the cost, you will follow Him wholeheartedly. When you finally stand before His throne, you'll say with confidence: "You are worth it all."

Day 5: His Mercies Never Fail
Reading: Lamentations 3:19-26

Devotional: "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness." When circumstances feel overwhelming and hope fades, remember this promise: God's mercies are renewed daily. Yesterday's struggles don't deplete today's supply of His grace. God hasn't given up on you, so don't give up on Him. He invites you to draw closer than ever before, to become "imprisoned in His arms"—wrapped so securely in His embrace that He won't let go. His track record speaks for itself: He has never failed you before, and He won't start now. Look back at how He moved in your past, in Scripture, in history. That same faithful God holds your present and future. Lift your eyes to Him—your help comes from the Lord. His compassion is moving even when you can't see it. Trust His faithfulness.

Ministry Highlight:
Home Group at Coleridge residence Mondays at 6pm

Home Groups are a welcoming, Christ-centered gathering where people come together in a home to grow in faith, study God’s Word, pray for one another, and build authentic community. It’s a place where believers and seekers alike can experience encouragement, discipleship, meaningful conversation, and spiritual growth in a relaxed and personal setting.

Through Bible teaching, discussion, prayer, and fellowship, Home Groups create an environment where lives are strengthened, relationships are formed, and people are equipped to live out their faith daily. Whether you’re new to the Bible or have walked with Jesus for years, Home Group at the Coleridge's is a space to belong, connect, and grow together in God’s presence.

Thank you Robert for you willingness to host a Home Group! We are blessed by you!

Day 4: Small Faith, Big God
Reading: Matthew 17:14-20

Devotional: Jesus said faith the size of a mustard seed—one of the tiniest seeds—can move mountains. You may feel your faith is insufficient, barely getting you out of bed each morning. That's enough. Inside a mustard seed are even tinier seeds that, once planted and broken open, grow into one of the largest garden plants. Your small faith, when placed entirely in God's hands, contains miraculous potential. God doesn't despise your struggling belief; He cultivates it. That tiny faith that keeps you from throwing in the towel, that helps you take one more step when everything screams "quit"—God sees it, values it, and multiplies it. Faith doesn't grow overnight, just as plants require time and nurturing. Nurture your faith through time in His Word, in prayer, and in His presence. Your small beginning will yield an abundant harvest.

Day 3: With God, All Things Are Possible
Reading: Matthew 19:23-26

Devotional: The disciples were astonished when Jesus said it's hard for the rich to enter God's kingdom, asking, "Who then can be saved?" Jesus' response echoes through every impossible situation we face: "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Write this down: With me, all things are impossible. With God, all things are possible. This isn't pessimism about human ability; it's realism about divine necessity. Your marriage feels beyond repair? With you, impossible. With God, possible. Your prodigal seems too far gone? With you, impossible. With God, possible. Your health crisis has no medical solution? With you, impossible. With God, possible. Stop exhausting yourself trying to accomplish what only God can do. Surrender your impossibilities to the One who specializes in doing what cannot be done.
