Nikiski Food Pantry is a food distribution program managed by the North Star United Methodist Church with support by donations and grants from the community. We also work through volunteers to supply emergency winter firewood needs as inventory allows. We welcome both labor and wood donations if you have enough to share. Nikiski Food Pantry does not discriminate on the basis of race, political orientation, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ethnicity, mental, or physical disability, or any other status prohibited by applicable law in the United States.

The Department of Environmental Conservation's Food Safety and Sanitation Program has confirmed the distribution of a recently recalled product in Alaska. Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. is voluntarily recalling a limited number of select flavors of Outshine Fruit Bars due to possible foreign material contamination with glass.
