Yesterday, our Mitzvah Makers spent the morning putting their hands and hearts to work sorting and cataloging donations for Catie’s Closet, creating caring cards for Holocaust survivors through JF&CS, and gardening with our Garden Club, which donates its harvest to local food pantries. It was a meaningful morning of giving back!

It was so nice to welcome our seniors (70+) for lunch yesterday. It was wonderful to see everyone catching up, sharing stories, and enjoying each other’s company. Before you know it, we’ll be together again to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. Until then, enjoy these last few weeks of summer!

Yesterday, we showered our K–12 Education Director, Rebecca, and her partner, Zev, with lots of love and gifts as they prepare for their wedding. Rabbi Stern shared a beautiful blessing and then we celebrated with snacks, a signature cocktail, and of course cake. We also got a sneak peek of the ketubah, which Zev painted, and it’s gorgeous. The festivities ended with a wedding-themed game of Pictionary. Mazel tov to the happy couple!
