However, at 10 am the Channing Tour Guides will be in the Church Sanctuary practicing!

Something wonderful is coming to Newport — and we'd love for you to be part of it.
On Saturday, May 2nd from 2–3:30 pm, The Learning Center at Channing Memorial Church is co-sponsoring a very special free event at the Newport Art Museum on Bellevue Avenue.
We're hosting a screening of Dance for All People — a beautiful micro-documentary film about Rachel Balaban and DAPpers and their remarkable partnership with medical students from Brown University's Warren Alpert Medical School.
DAPpers believe that dance belongs to everyone — every age, every ability, every body. This film captures that spirit in the most joyful way imaginable.
The afternoon includes the film screening and panel talkback with some audience participation. Come see what happens when movement meets medicine.
Free admission. Open to all. Space is limited; please RSVP at Newport Art Museum.
