Hampton Holiness Chapel was founded in 2008 by the leading of the Holy Spirit by a core group of believers to start holiness church who believed in putting Jesus first. Its emphasis since its foundation has been on holiness of life-the fact that we are all called to live holy lives through the power and influence of the Holy Spirit living through us. Holy living IS possible but only through God and not what we do!

Don’t forget to pray for those you may not know today, the need your help and will see and feel the results in your own life.
God is always willing to answer prayers if we are willing to bring issues to Him.
Keep your eyes and ears open to see and hear His responses. You will be amazed.

Pastor Gus and I discussed a point this morning. You may be interested in this point.
Not everyone request to be anointed Sunday mornings. That doesn’t mean that during the week that things may happen during the week that you may want someone to pray with over the phone. I want you to know that that opportunity is now available. You can now call me on the phone and we will pray together. If you don’t want the subject revealed it won’t be. Your name will never be revealed unless you request it as well as how much information you request to be revealed. In any case I would only reveal it to Pastor Gus.
We are requesting others to join this prayer group but it will be revealed only as an unspoken prayer request to the prayer group.
God will be the one who receives these prayer request and the only one that can properly answer these requests.

The Holy Spirit was among us in this morning’s service. There were several that responded that they desired a closer walk in their relation with Jesus.
Now it is our job to lift them up in prayer everyday. They will need our prayers to strengthen with security in their walk with Christ. They will also need understanding. It won’t be an easy road but with our support in prayer will help more than we will ever know.
My friends it will help us as well. We all have the same goal. We may never know what we are doing will make a difference. Just give God the credit and watch what takes place in all our lives.

Hopefully, if you are seeing this, you are already my friend — and if you are local and do not attend church regularly, I would love for you to come as my guest tomorrow morning.

Service begins at 11:00 AM, and we will enjoy a meal together afterward. Please dress casually, because we may spend some time outside enjoying fellowship together.

For those who may have forgotten, the church is Faith Community Church, located at 657 Harpersville Road in Newport News.

I hope this is everyone’s prayer for tomorrow as we prepare to bring our friends and celebrate Jesus! They should be our attitude every week as we prepare our hearts for worship! Remember membership classes at 10, service at 11 and most importantly, Jesus will be there all day! Come expecting Him to move! See you tomorrow!
